It is one thing to argue that unknown, large animals can exist undetected, but another to suppose that they could continue to exist without evidence.
Where is the Evidence for Bigfoot?
The most famous cryptid in Mount Shasta, apart from the Lemurians, is Bigfoot. The area around Mount Shasta is known for sightings of Bigfoot, with reports dating back to the 19th century. Some people believe that the mountain provides an ideal habitat for the creature due to its rugged terrain and dense forests.
However, the forests of the Pacific Northwest are neither remote nor underexplored; indeed, they have been decimated by clear-cut logging and, more recently, by the mountain pine beetle epidemic. Every animal in these forests leaves plenty of hard evidence of their existence: nests and dens, carcasses, skeletons and partial skeletons, teeth, and isolated individual bones.
Where is the evidence for Bigfoot?
Bigfoot became popular in California in 1958 with a report from Bluff Creek, California. Raymond Wallace documented footprints at a construction site, which were later proven false. It is important to note that there is no scientific evidence to support the existence of these cryptids or paranormal phenomena, and cultural and historical factors may influence their inclusion in local folklore and mythology. Nonetheless, they continue to capture the imaginations of many people who are drawn to the mystery and allure of Mount Shasta.
