The Yaktavians at Mount Shasta
Another group of Little People reportedly live on Mt. Shasta—the Yaktavians. The Yaktavians, also called the Secret Commonwealth, create bells that announce floods or other doom. The bells are also used to repel visitors and are invisible. Their cities, Iletheleme and Yaktavia, were constructed using the vibration of the bells to carve huge hollows underneath Mt. Shasta. There is very little information besides this reference regarding the Secret Commonwealth at Mount Shasta.

Mysterious Bells of Mount Shasta Mount Shasta is known for its alleged bells that ring from the mountain. In 1945 Fredrick Morrison wrote an article called “California Bell Legend.” The Yaktavians are reported to be the greatest bell makers on our planet and manufacture their bell in the two cities of Iletheleme and Yaktavia within the mountain. Morison describes the situation: “Using the mastery over sound and vibrations, the Yaktavians used their bells and chimes to hollow out underground cities and produce light and power for the cities. A great transparent bell, invisible until you get within 18” of it, protects the secret mountain entrance to their cave.
