Col. James Churchward, Raymond W. Bernard, and Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd
Col. James Churchward, Raymond W. Bernard, and Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd support the Hollow Earth Theory. Churchward argues that heat does not come from the sun but from an earthly force. This is a result of the light rays from the sun, which carry no heat, combusting with elements on Earth. An example of this is the aurora borealis. Churchward writes, “Our sun, with its satellites, is moving around a superior sun. This superior sun, with her various systems, is moving around some greater sun, and so on to the center of the universe.” He concludes that the Earth cannot be drawn into the sun or hurled into space and that the sun gives off no heat.
In 1964, Rosicrucian Walter Seigmeister, who wrote under the name Raymond W. Bernard, published The Hollow Earth. Bernard is an important author because he reiterates older myths of the Hollow Earth theory, which allows the plausibility of Lemurian and Atlanteans living inside Mt. Shasta.
Bernard notes, “Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd did not fly 1,700 miles across the North Pole to the other side of the earth, a frozen icy was, like the region from which he came – but flew beyond the Pole into the polar opening leading to the hollow interior of the earth, traversing an iceless region of mountains, lakes, rivers, green vegetation, and animal life.”
